RISE OF DISSENSION – “Lord Of The Damned”

Kingston, ON act Rise Of Dissension is streaming the startling new video for “Lord Of The Damned”. "Lord Of The Damned" is the 1st track from their self-titled debut album recorded by Duncan Holt at Concept Audio. Video production by Paul Ferguson.

Formed in the early frigid months of 2014, Rise Of Dissension is a band with great strength and power. The band originally formed with Doug Smith's grinding rhythm guitars and meaty lead vocals, Landon Chatterton's precise destruction behind drums, and Andrew Simmons' driven riffs and blistering lead guitars. Later on infused Darren McLean's deadly bass guitar playing to finish off the flaming lineup. Rise Of Dissension has an unmistakable heavy metal influence and rides strongly on that track, but is not based on one genre either.

Influences range between thrash metal / classic metal, rock, and even a slight dash of pop rock, giving Rise's sound an ability to please more than one generation of listeners.
Rise starts their assault on the circuit by sharing the stage with former Wolfsbane and Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley on his Canadian tour in Kingston, and their next show as support for Canadian metal band Varga. Rise Of Dissension forged ahead with their live show roster including shows with Panzerfaust, CAYM, and eOne recording artists Black Crown Initiate. Rise of Dissension's brute force attitude on and off stage gives an energy to the audience that they soon won't forget.

Their self-titled debut CD was released to great response in November 2014 and is jam packed with 12 tracks of total power and diversity, including one influential cover of "War Machine" by the legendary band KISS. The band is currently writing material for their sophomore album.
